- Check the WC against the room
I compare the outlet, inlet, dimensions and fixing points before the old fitting comes out.
- Prepare sound connections
The floor, waste outlet and water feed are checked and cleaned so the new seals are not being asked to hide an old problem.
- Fit, level and connect
The WC is positioned securely, connected without strain and sealed where appropriate.
- Flush-test under normal use
I fill and flush repeatedly, then check the inlet, cistern, pan connection and floor for movement or seepage.

How I price WC fitting
The price depends on whether this is a like-for-like replacement or whether the outlet, water point or mounting arrangement must change. I inspect those points before confirming the figure.
The WC and visible fittings can be supplied by you or sourced for you. Parts and labour are shown separately.

WC fitting questions
Can you replace my WC with any model?
Not always as a direct swap. The outlet direction, distance from the wall and water point must suit the new WC. Send the model details before buying and I can check the basics.
Do you fit concealed cisterns?
Yes, for the plumbing and fitting work. Any wall construction or tile installation needed around it must be handled separately.
Can you repair a running toilet instead of replacing it?
Often. A fill valve, flush valve, seal or connection may be the only failed part. I will tell you when repair is sensible and when replacement is better value.
