New bathroom installation & full renovation
I handle the plumbing and directly related fitting work for a new bathroom or a full renovation, with the scope agreed clearly before the room is opened up.
For new bathrooms and full renovations, I plan and install the supply, waste and fixture connections, then return for the final bathroom fittings after the surrounding work is ready.
My direct scope is plumbing and directly related fitting work only. I do not perform electrical work, tile installation or waterproofing, and I will not include those trades in my own service description or quote.
Need an electrician or tiler too? Ask — I am happy to point you to someone reliable as an informal referral, but their work, availability and agreement remain separate from mine.
Bathroom installation work I take on
The plumbing and fitting stages of a new bathroom or full renovation.
- Planning supply, waste and fixture positions before work starts
- First-fix hot and cold supply pipework
- Waste runs and floor traps set with a workable fall
- WC, washbasin, shower, mixer and health-faucet plumbing
- Concealed cistern and concealed valve plumbing connections
- Second-fix installation and testing of bathroom fittings
- Moving fixture positions where the existing waste and structure allow it
How I do the job
Honest about the method, the tools and the limits.
- Inspect and agree the plumbing scope
I check existing supply, waste, stack positions and access, then identify what can move and what should stay.
- Plan the sequence
First fix and pressure testing happen before pipework is covered. Electrical, tiling and waterproofing work remain separate and must be scheduled around that plumbing sequence.
- Install and test the first fix
Supply and waste runs are installed and tested while every joint is still accessible.
- Return for fittings and handover
When the surrounding surfaces are ready, I fit and connect the agreed bathroom items, test supply and drainage under use, and hand over my work.
What it costs
How I price bathroom installation work
I quote the plumbing and directly related fitting scope after seeing the room and agreed layout. The figure depends on fixture count, moved positions, access, concealed work and whether you or I source the fittings.
Electrical work, tile installation and waterproofing are not included. Any referral to another tradesperson leads to a separate agreement with that person.
Photographs of this work
These slots are empty on purpose. Genuine photographs of my own jobs go here once I have the customer's permission to publish them — I would rather show you nothing than show you someone else's stock photograph.

Bathroom project questions
Does full renovation mean you do the electrical and tiling work?
No. My direct scope is plumbing and directly related fitting work. Electrical work, tile installation and waterproofing are separate specialist trades.
Can you help me find an electrician or tiler?
You can ask and I may point you to someone reliable, but that is an informal referral rather than a service I sell or manage. Their quote and agreement are separate.
When should the plumbing be tested?
Before it is covered. First-fix supply and waste pipework should be tested while joints remain accessible, then fittings are tested again at second fix.
Can you move the WC or basin?
Sometimes. It depends on the soil stack, waste route, available fall and structure. I confirm what is practical before the layout is treated as final.
Still not sure it's the right fix?
Describe it to me on WhatsApp. If it isn't my kind of job, I'll say so rather than turn up and charge you for the visit.
