Washbasin & bath accessories fittings
One careful fitting visit can finish the room: basin and taps connected properly, then the useful accessories mounted straight and securely.
This service combines washbasin plumbing with the connected and non-plumbing accessories that complete a bathroom.
I fit pedestal, counter-top and wall-hung basins; taps, mixers, showers, health faucets and angle valves; and accessories including towel rails, mirrors, shelves and grab bars. Before drilling, I check the fixing location and the surface so each item gets a suitable fixing rather than a screw chosen by habit.
Electrical accessories and electrical connections are not included.

How I do the job
Honest about the method, the tools and the limits.
- Check positions and surfaces
I confirm heights, clearances, pipe points and the wall or counter construction before drilling or connecting anything.
- Use the right fixing
A basin, grab bar and lightweight shelf do not take the same load. Each gets a fixing suited to the item and surface.
- Connect and seal plumbing
Supply and waste connections are assembled without strain, sealed correctly and left accessible where they should be.
- Align and test everything
Accessories are level and secure; plumbing fittings are run under normal pressure and checked for leaks and drainage.
What it costs
How I price fitting work
I price by the number and type of fittings, the wall or counter surface, and whether usable plumbing points already exist. Several fittings completed in one visit are quoted together.
You may supply the fittings yourself. Send photographs or product links first so I can flag obvious compatibility issues before the visit.

Washbasin and accessory questions
Do you fit accessories that are not connected to water?
Yes. Towel rails, mirrors, shelves and grab bars are included, provided they can be safely fixed to the available surface.
Can I buy the basin and taps myself?
Yes. Send the model details first if possible, especially for wall-hung basins and concealed fittings where dimensions and support matter.
Do you fit illuminated mirrors or electrical accessories?
I can mount a suitable non-electrical item, but I do not make electrical connections. Any wiring belongs to a qualified electrician.
